Ellie loves helmets, and somehow managed to convince Grandma Phyllis to take the big one, while reserving the more modest bike helmet for herself.
Ben enjoyed browsing in the market.
While in Albert Lea, we went to vist great-grandpa Earl every day. He and Ellie got along extremely well, as you can see here.
We also made ice cream and
blew bubbles.
Finally, we all enjoyed the ability to go for a walk without melting. Here's my favorite walking shot to close off the post.

We are still so horribly sorry to have missed you...but it is great to see pictures of the kids in WI/MN...we enjoyed the cool weather too!
We enjoyed the photos from Albert Lea - getting to see Great Grandpa Earl was nice - it put a face with a name for us. I also love the shot of Ellie and I walking. Another of my favorites that you took is Ellie and I making Nathan's birthday cake. You took the best shots! What a fun visit we had!
